Workhorse Warranty

SAB TOOLS, operated by Sharpass Blades LLC, provides a six-month limited warranty on the SAB Workhorse shear beginning on the original delivery date.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers verified defects in materials, manufacturing, or assembly that prevent the Workhorse from operating as intended under normal professional use.

Available Remedy

If SAB approves a warranty claim, SAB may repair or replace the Workhorse at its discretion. Replacement may be with the same model or a comparable model if the original model is unavailable.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal wear, dulling, routine maintenance, or expected changes from regular professional use.
  • Damage caused by dropping, impact, misuse, improper storage, corrosion, moisture, chemicals, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Damage caused by alteration, modification, disassembly, improper tension adjustment, or unauthorized repair.
  • Damage resulting from sharpening, repair, or adjustment performed by another provider.
  • Cosmetic wear that does not materially affect normal operation.
  • Loss, theft, or damage occurring after confirmed delivery to the recipient.

How to Make a Claim

Warranty claims may require the order information, photographs, a description of the issue, and return of the Workhorse for inspection. SAB determines coverage after evaluating the shear. This warranty applies only to the original Workhorse recipient. It does not apply to customer-owned shears submitted to SAB for sharpening or repair.
